What you will do

• Serve as the subject matter expert for US & Canada leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leave laws.
• Track and maintain accurate records of leave requests, approvals, and return-to-work dates within HR systems.
• Coordinate notices, certifications, and forms to meet federal, state, and internal reporting and payment requirements.
• Manage the full lifecycle of leave cases from intake through return-to-work with high attention to detail.
• Support the interactive process for accommodation-related leave and facilitate employee transitions back to work.
• Partner with legal, benefits, and employee relations teams to resolve complex or high-risk cases.

Requirements

• 2+ years of applicable experience in benefits or absence management.
• Knowledge of employee benefits programs including medical, dental, and 401(k) plans.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive medical and personal information.
• Strong professional communication skills for collaborating with employees, managers, and external vendors.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and strict deadlines simultaneously.

• Experience working in large organizations with over 5,000 employees.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
