What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets including capitalization, depreciation, and disposal.
• Perform month-end close activities within SAP S/4 HANA and reconcile fixed asset accounts.
• Prepare fixed asset schedules for SEC filings (10-Q/10-K) in accordance with GAAP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in asset management practices.
• Maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls and support audit processes.
• Leverage AI-powered tools and automation to streamline financial reporting and analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP or OneStream XF.
• Strong understanding of internal control processes and GAAP.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship provided.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Princeton, NJ.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or Master’s in Accounting.
• Experience in the energy industry.
• Public accounting background.
• Advanced experience with AI-based workflows and large dataset analysis.
