What you will do

• Build and maintain frontend platform, reusable UI patterns, design tokens, and component libraries using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Develop an API-first, machine-readable frontend experience to support both human users and AI agents.
• Apply AI effectively across planning, implementation, review, testing, and continuous quality improvement.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering to turn ambiguous requirements into well-scoped, high-quality deliveries.
• Own quality via testing, accessibility, observability, performance, and safe rollout practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional development experience.
• Strong experience building production web applications.
• Deep fluency in Next.js (App Router), React, TypeScript, and modern build tooling (e.g., Turborepo, Rspack).
• Experience designing frontend architecture and shared components/patterns.
• Strong quality mindset across testing, accessibility, performance, telemetry, and production ownership.
• Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter for team gatherings/events (when applicable).

Nice to have

• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Experience with BFF layers, contract-driven development, or event-driven architectures.
• Experience integrating with backend APIs across service boundaries.
• Comfort reading and contributing to backend services when needed.

Location: Remote

Salary: $158,000–$190,000 annually (base + bonus target)
