TL;DR

Senior Frontend Engineer (AI): Building and optimizing user-facing interfaces for AI-powered communication agents across voice, SMS, and email with an accent on real-time interaction and scalable architecture. Focus on shaping ambiguous product ideas into intuitive workflows and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences.

Location: Hybrid role, expectation of being in the San Francisco office three days per week.

Salary: $185,000 – $220,000

What you will do

  • Design and ship user-facing experiences for AI-powered communication agents.
  • Own frontend technical decisions from architecture through production.
  • Partner with Product and Design to turn customer needs into scalable interfaces.
  • Build fast, responsive, and reliable interfaces for real-time AI interactions.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end workflows.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of software engineering experience as an individual contributor.
  • Strong track record of shipping customer-facing products from concept to launch.
  • Proficiency in React and TypeScript.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and solve open-ended technical problems.
  • Strong technical depth and ability to own technical decisions end-to-end.

Nice to have

  • Experience building AI-powered products or conversational AI.
  • Background in communication platforms or SMS/compliance systems.
