What you will do
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the merchant acquiring business across Southern Europe.
- Build and manage a pipeline of new merchants focusing on e-commerce, digital businesses, SaaS, and retail.
- Generate outbound business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
- Lead commercial negotiations regarding pricing and contractual agreements.
- Coordinate the merchant onboarding process with internal teams.
- Monitor local market trends and competitor activity in Italy, Spain, and Portugal.
Requirements
- 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in payments, fintech, PSP, or merchant services.
- Proven experience selling card acquiring solutions to merchants.
- Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem and transaction flows.
- Knowledge of local payment methods and trends within Southern Europe.
- Existing network of merchants and industry decision-makers.
- English: B2+ required
