TL;DR
Joint Data Network (JDN) Technician (C2/COP): Provide technical support for Command and Control (C2) systems and Common Operating Picture (COP) capabilities for U.S. Marine Corps operations with an accent on monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting mission-essential data services. Focus on ensuring continuous availability of COP servers and related tools, sustaining VMware environments, and supporting daily COP/JREAP management in a mission-critical environment.

What you will do
- Operate, maintain, and support C2 systems including GCCS-J, JREAP, Agile Client, and related mission systems.
- Continuously monitor COP server health and status, including COP Sync Tool (CST) and Link Monitoring and Management Tool (LMMT) connectivity.
- Ensure VMware environments remain operational and support system sustainability.
- Perform COP database management and validate daily COP and JREAP management activities to maintain operational readiness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting C2 capabilities and operational data flow.
- Update Data Fusion Center documentation using Microsoft Office Suite and coordinate with government personnel and mission partners; support CONUS/OCONUS travel for missions and exercises.
Requirements
- Security Clearance: Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (associate degree acceptable with an additional five years of relevant experience).
- Minimum of eight years of relevant experience supporting a U.S. military service in C2 systems support.
- Experience supporting and maintaining C2 systems including GCCS-J, JREAP, Agile Client, or comparable operational platforms.
- Experience monitoring and maintaining COP systems and associated databases.
- Shift and travel: Ability to support rotating 8-hour watch schedules and travel within CONUS and outside CONUS (OCONUS)
