What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end testing for customer network solutions.
• Develop automated test scripts using Python and the Robot Framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute functional, scale, and performance test scenarios.
• Analyze test coverage and identify gaps in collaboration with system test teams.
• Troubleshoot and document software defects, working with engineering resources to resolve issues.
• Participate in customer workshops to understand network designs and technical requirements.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in California, USA.
• 8-10+ years of experience in a relevant engineering field.
• Strong foundation in core Internet protocols including TCP, UDP, IPv4, and IPv6.
• In-depth knowledge of networking technologies such as BGP, MPLS, L2/L3VPN, and EVPN-VXLAN.
• Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages and automation frameworks like Robot.
• Experience with networking test equipment such as Spirent or Ixia.

Nice to have

• Hands-on exposure to the JUNOS operating system.
• Networking-related certifications.
• Experience with traffic simulation tools.
• Broad understanding of Cloud infrastructure and WAN technologies.
