Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Porto, Portugal. The role is fully remote for candidates residing outside Porto, Maia, Matosinhos, Gondomar, Valongo, and Vila Nova de Gaia. Candidates residing within these municipalities must work in the office 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Build hybrid-cloud infrastructure and automation for cloud-native applications.
• Develop CI/CD tooling, common abstractions, and progressive delivery capabilities.
• Enable development teams with cloud-native workflows, developer training, and automated software delivery.
• Design and build secure, highly scalable, enterprise-grade platform tools.
• Document architecture and implementation solutions while collaborating with product managers, architects, testers, and developers.
• Troubleshoot and support the cloud platform in production.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional DevOps or production operations experience.
• 5+ years of cloud-native application delivery experience.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins.
• Strong knowledge of public cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP, as well as AWS or Azure.
• Expertise with Kubernetes, Helm, Istio, GKE, EKS, Terraform, infrastructure as code, SRE, and DevOps practices.
• Strong programming experience with Python, Terraform, Golang, Java, or similar technologies, plus advanced Linux knowledge.
