Senior DevOps Engineer (Infrastructure and Automation)

Location: Portugal, hybrid. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Coordinate technical changes and operations, including electrical shutdowns and server migrations.
• Prepare and review documentation for application components, architectures, and operational procedures.
• Manage application version deployments and commissioning with development and maintenance teams.
• Schedule operational treatments and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Resolve production incidents and provide expert troubleshooting and operational support.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, database administrators, and network teams to maintain operational continuity.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or related roles.
• Strong experience with Windows and Unix environments.
• Strong scripting skills in Shell/KSH, PowerShell, and Python.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases and CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with BMC, Control-M, or other industrial schedulers is preferred, along with familiarity with Micro Focus CSA/HCM.
• Fluent English and Portuguese are required, and candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

Nice to have

• Certification or experience in system architecture or automation tools.
