What you will do

• Map and optimize manual workflows by identifying bottlenecks and designing automation strategies to reduce contact rates and improve response times.
• Develop and deploy automated pipelines connecting backend APIs with Zendesk and other enterprise systems using low-code/no-code tools (n8n, Make, Zapier).
• Integrate LLMs and AI agents where they add real value (e.g., quality auditing, agentic features for AI bots, and data analysis) with clear cost, reliability, and failure-mode reasoning.
• Test and monitor automated workflows, validate outputs for accuracy, and troubleshoot failures to ensure dependable operation.
• Create documentation, establish data security policies, and train internal teams to adopt and use the new automation tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and deploying intelligent workflow automations using n8n, Zapier, or Make (n8n strongly preferred).
• Hands-on AI-assisted development experience (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and LLM API experience (e.g., Claude Code or similar) to implement complex automation logic.
• Deep Zendesk expertise across triggers, automations, SLAs, dynamic forms, custom fields, omnichannel routing, IVR, views, and side conversations.
• Ability to deliver practical solutions despite ambiguity and handle periods of rapid scaling and operational chaos.
