What you will do

• Design and build scalable APIs, services, and frontend features.
• Jump into different codebases and domains to unblock critical projects.
• Ship high-quality, maintainable code balancing pragmatism and sustainability.
• Collaborate with staff engineers, product managers, and designers to define impactful solutions.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate engineering practices.
• Identify technical risks and drive improvements across existing systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a senior or technical leadership role.
• Strong full-stack proficiency with Kotlin/Java and React/JS.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Terraform, and Github Actions.
• Deep knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Proven ability to quickly understand new domains and contribute with minimal onboarding.
• Must be based in Germany, Italy, Portugal, or Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools like Cursor or Claude Code.
• Strong system design and architectural leadership skills.
