Staff Data Scientist (Growth)

What you will do

• Drive proactive problem-solving by bringing structure and insight to complex, ambiguous business challenges.
• Collaborate closely with leaders across Product, Growth, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to size opportunities and assess impact.
• Contribute to high-visibility initiatives that influence company-wide goals and long-term strategic direction.
• Build revenue models, evaluate trade-offs, and quantify the potential impact of strategic initiatives.
• Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights that empower stakeholders to make confident choices.

Requirements

• Expert-level SQL competency with experience in Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Proficiency in Python or R and experience handling large datasets.
• Prior experience in a tech company with knowledge of growth accounting and product funnels.
• Familiarity with subscription-based business models and product-led growth models.
• Must be based in Sydney, Australia.
