Product Manager (Civic Tech)

TL;DR

Compensation: $85 - $90 USD per hour

What you will do

• Define the vision, goals, and success measures for government digital products and services.
• Collaborate with designers and technical leads to synthesize user needs, market research, and business requirements.
• Manage project scope and priority, from high-level initiatives down to specific user stories and metrics.
• Build buy-in for product initiatives with government partners, internal teams, and external contractors.
• Translate data insights into actionable plans to measure and improve product progress.
• Make tactical decisions to optimize design and generate stakeholder consensus for the desired path forward.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship provided).
• Must reside in one of the approved US states (e.g., CA, NY, TX, FL, VA, WA, etc.).
• At least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager leading cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience shipping consumer web applications.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for managing technical and UX trade-offs.
