Firmware Solutions Engineer (Firmware/Embedded): Collaborate with customers and ecosystem partners to design, implement, and deploy tailored Ethernet networking solutions with an accent on system-level use cases, debugging, and performance optimization across Intel networking platforms. Focus on developing, testing, and validating embedded software/firmware workloads and creating technical documentation to accelerate deployment, usage, and troubleshooting.

Location: US, Oregon, Hillsboro (regular onsite presence required)

Salary: $111,030.00-211,200.00 USD (annual)

What you will do

• Design and implement tailored customer and partner solutions for successful production deployment.
• Lead and support rapid debugging and issue resolution with engineering teams inside and outside the company.
• Identify feature gaps to improve product capabilities, tools, and usage models.
• Develop, test, and debug system-level use cases and workloads, verifying software packages across diverse platforms and operating systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation (release notes, user guides, application notes, white papers) to support deployment through debugging.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent with 3+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in embedded software development, validation, or technical customer support roles.
• 2+ years of experience with Assembly, C++, or Python.
• Working knowledge of Linux distributions and networking stacks/drivers.
• Ability to debug and solve complex technical problems in varied environments.
