Senior Power Platform Developer (Power Platform)

TL;DR

Senior Power Platform Developer (Power Platform): Leading architecture and development of Power BI dashboards and Power Apps for federal IT infrastructure with an accent on role-based data visualization and Azure integration. Focus on designing semantic models, developing complex DAX, and establishing reusable platform patterns for Department of Defense data.

Location: Remote (USA), must be able to travel to Fort Lee, Virginia at least three times annually and potentially more often as directed.

What you will do

• Lead architecture and development across Power BI and Power Apps, establishing reusable technical patterns.
• Design semantic models, reusable business measures, and complex DAX transformations.
• Develop Power Automate workflows and approval paths, integrating them with Azure and Army data sources.
• Implement and manage role-based access and security rules for dashboards and applications.
• Review technical work produced by other developers and establish development, test, and production promotion procedures.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and knowledge-transfer materials.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance.
• 6+ years in BI, analytics, or application development, with 4+ years in Power BI and 2+ years in Power Apps/Automate.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, SQL, and dimensional modeling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Ability to work during normal US Government working hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Government tenant, Army 365, or GCC High.
• Knowledge of Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) or governance.
• Microsoft certifications: PL-300, PL-400, or PL-600.
• Experience with Azure services, API integration, or custom connectors.
• Background in logistics, maintenance, or financial dashboards (GCSS-Army, SAP).
