TL;DR

Senior Lead, Commercial Planning & Compensation: Translating growth ambitions into operating plans for the Commercial organization with an accent on compensation design, capacity modeling, and performance analytics. Focus on building long-term planning models, managing incentive structures, and providing strategic insights to leadership and the Board.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to New York, NY (Hybrid: 3x in office/week)

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end annual Commercial planning cycle, including OKRs, coverage models, and compensation design.
  • Design and administer incentive compensation plans for Sales, Client Success, and Partnerships.
  • Manage a Commissions Analyst and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all commission payouts.
  • Build and maintain long-term planning models with clean logic and clear documentation.
  • Develop executive and Board-level materials regarding Commercial strategy and performance.
  • Partner with Finance and Field Operations to stress-test growth strategies and operational plans.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Background in investment banking or management consulting.
  • Deep analytical skills in Microsoft Excel with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to articulate long-term value creation and unpack complex business drivers.
  • Highly organized with a proactive communication style.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in New York, NY.

Nice to have

  • Experience running multiple Commercial annual planning and compensation cycles.
  • Prior experience in healthcare or employer benefits.
  • Background in business or sales operations.
  • Familiarity with usage-based revenue compensation models.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills for executive presentations.
