What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of technical contributors and project managers (4–8 people).
• Drive team culture, employee engagement, and work-life balance while supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Manage client relationships and expectations to deliver quality services on time and within budget.
• Support business development activities such as attending local society meetings and meeting clients.
• Ensure technical excellence by implementing business processes and recommending improvements for best-in-class service.
• Partner with regional leadership on recruiting, training, and service line growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Location: Reside in and/or relocate to the Houston Metro area to be in appropriate proximity to the team.
• Work arrangement: In-office role; not intended to include hybrid or remote work.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical consulting and building/cultivating client relationships.
• Strong working knowledge of fire protection engineering fundamentals.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
