Backend Engineer, Data Foundations (.NET)

What you will do

• Design and build .NET backend systems supporting customer signup, trials, purchases, subscriptions, and account lifecycles.
• Own revenue-critical flows including billing, upgrades, renewals, cancellations, and payment recovery.
• Integrate billing, payment, and CRM platforms through APIs, webhooks, asynchronous processing, and message-driven workflows.
• Modernize a large legacy platform by decomposing monolithic components into focused microservices while maintaining production stability.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and growth teams on features affecting conversion, retention, and customer experience.
• Write tests, review code, investigate production incidents, and improve monitoring for business-critical paths.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on coding experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience improving the stability of large-scale systems, resolving bottlenecks, and using monitoring effectively.
• Strong coding standards, independent execution, and experience leading long-term technical initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern backend technologies including ASP.NET Core, relational databases, message queues, caching, and service-to-service communication.
