What you will do

• Perform consulting and design for fire alarm and mass notification systems, including layouts and calculations.
• Create and review shop drawings and technical specifications for project compliance.
• Conduct site assessments, field surveys, and commissioning activities.
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to ensure adherence to NFPA and IBC codes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects and AHJs.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff members.

Requirements

• NICET Level III or IV certification in Fire Alarm Systems is required.
• 5-10 years of experience in fire alarm consulting, design, or inspection.
• Strong understanding of fire protection engineering principles and life safety codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
