LADC Counselor

TL;DR

LADC Counselor (Behavioral Health): Providing substance abuse counseling and treatment planning for patients in a recovery program with an accent on crisis intervention and regulatory compliance. Salary: $30–$36 per hour + bonus structure.

What you will do

• Conduct individual and group alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions.
• Develop and revise patient treatment plans while maintaining accurate records.
• Perform intake and readmission services for new and returning patients.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate care with community providers.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Participate in in-service training and professional development programs.

Requirements

• Must have an active LADC, ADC, or ADC-T license in the state of Minnesota.
• Knowledge of substance abuse populations and human social services.
• Ability to make effective decisions in stressful or sensitive situations.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• Understanding of human behavior and rehabilitation techniques.
