Staff SAP ABAP Developer (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: Normal, Illinois; salary disclosure also covers Palo Alto, California.

Salary: $114,100–$142,600 for Illinois-based applicants; $135,800–$169,800 for Palo Alto, California-based applicants.

What you will do

• Lead and execute complex SAP S/4HANA ABAP development projects across SAP process areas.
• Develop RICEFW objects, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Build IDoc, BAPI, and REST API integrations, Fiori developments, CDS views, and OData services.
• Perform technical analysis, design, configuration, coding, debugging, break-fix support, and performance optimization.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and business users to design custom solutions and conduct required meetings.
• Participate in unit, SIT, integration, regression, and peer-review activities while producing technical and operational documentation.

Requirements

• 12+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Experience developing SAP ABAP RICEFW objects and S/4HANA ABAP developments.
• Experience with Fiori development and enhancement, web services, IDoc, BAPI, and REST API integrations.
• Experience developing CDS views and exposing them through OData services.
• Experience with runtime analysis, SQL Trace, Code Inspector, and SAP ABAP Test Cockpit for code quality and SAP HANA optimization.
• Experience with ABAP Object-Oriented Programming, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA technical concepts and architecture, HANA Studio data modeling, ADT, SAP HANA code-performance rules, and AMDP.
• Experience in SAP Supply Chain or one or more of P2P, PL2PR, O2C, EWM, and R2R.
• Experience performing unit, SIT, integration, and regression testing with cross-functional teams; strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and independent-working skills.
