What you will do

• Set up, write, and edit CNC programs for lathes, mills, drills, and other machinery.
• Maintain strict quality and tolerances within .0003”.
• Work from work order routings, prints, sketches, and layout sheets.
• Apply knowledge of working properties for materials including stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, brass, and exotics.
• Inspect finished work using micrometers, bore gages, and vernier calipers to verify conformance.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical school education.
• Minimum 3 years of CNC machine tool Programming & Operating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical machine drawings.
• Previous experience as a Manual machinist.
• Ability to operate at least two different CNC machine tools.
• Must be based in the United States.
