What you will do

• Own the technical direction and quality of all ML model development across AI initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end development of production ML systems, from data ingestion and feature engineering to deployment.
• Design novel ML approaches for time-series parametric test data and wafer map analysis.
• Drive applied research and translate new architectures and algorithms into production systems.
• Develop rigorous model evaluation frameworks, including validation methodologies and production monitoring.
• Mentor junior ML engineers and serve as the final arbiter for ML architecture and modeling decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning, applied AI, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) and implementing reinforcement learning.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python and familiarity with distributed systems.
• Experience building production ML systems including MLOps, monitoring, and deployment.
• Proficiency in computer vision for manufacturing inspection and defect detection.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in North Reading, MA, US.

Nice to have

• Experience with ML model deployment on edge devices (quantization, ONNX).
• Knowledge of AI agent frameworks such as LangChain or AutoGen.
• Contributions to open-source ML projects, technical patents, or academic publications.
