Adult Education Intern (Education)

What you will do

• Manage on-site intake and enrollment procedures for new students.
• Administer and grade standardized pre- and post-term placement tests.
• Provide classroom support, including attendance tracking and technical assistance for learners.
• Collaborate with volunteer instructors to facilitate online and in-person learning activities.
• Conduct data entry and generate reports using ETO and Microsoft spreadsheets.
• Coordinate student communication, reminders, and feedback surveys.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US, be a US citizen, or have valid US work authorization.
• Must be currently enrolled in or have graduated from a post-secondary institution within the last 2 years.
• Undergraduate studies in education, humanities, social sciences, or international relations.
• Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Nice to have

• TESOL certificate or degree.
• Proficiency in Spanish, Haitian Creole, Arabic, Dari/Farsi, Pashto, or Kiswahili.
