TL;DR

Sr Perception Component Engineer (Robotics): Developing and deploying perception products for autonomous and automated machine systems with an accent on product specification, supplier management, and component qualification. Focus on troubleshooting technical issues, PCB-level electrical testing, and integrating RADAR, LiDAR, and camera systems.

Location: Onsite in Mossville, IL (working onsite five days a week). Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.

Salary: $112,710.00 - $169,060.00

What you will do

• Specify perception products aligning with corporate needs and coordinate with third-party providers for design, development, and qualification.
• Oversee and execute compliance with development processes and regulations for perception components.
• Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues related to perception components.
• Manage and interface with electrical and electronic product suppliers.
• Mentor technicians and engineers in the development of perception components.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering.
• Knowledge of electronics engineering, including reading schematics and conducting PCB-level electrical tests.
• Experience in project management and supplier management.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Mossville, IL for full-time onsite work.

Nice to have

• Ability to write code for test scripts (Python, C, etc.).
• Previous experience developing perception components like RADAR, cameras, and LiDAR.
• Experience in system integration of perception components within autonomous, automated, or safety systems.
