What you will do
- Lead end-to-end hardware and software integration for novel UAS platforms, including bring-up and compatibility validation.
- Design, plan, and execute rigorous ground and flight test campaigns, including telemetry and log analysis.
- Act as the primary technical project manager to track system requirements and document engineering fixes.
- Build data pipelines and analysis frameworks to evaluate UAS flight control and operational deployment metrics.
- Develop automated test suites and pre-flight simulation environments to accelerate validation cycles.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, or related technical discipline.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR/EAR compliance).
- Deep expertise in open-source flight stacks (PX4, ArduPilot), MAVLink, and ROS2.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C/C++ for system-level integration.
- Proven track record of managing FAA-compliant field operations and leading system verification programs.
Nice to have
- Defense or C-UAS test campaign experience.
- Quality Assurance or Validation Engineering background in aerospace.
- Data science capabilities using Python for hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Business acumen to support strategic project management.
