What you will do

• Develop end-to-end credit risk frameworks including eligibility, underwriting, scoring, and limit setting.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to build and optimize a best-in-class Credit Risk Engine.
• Architect the data strategy using transactional data, bureau landscapes, and behavioral signals.
• Build and manage the portfolio monitoring stack and early warning indicator systems.
• Act as the Second Line of Defence (2LoD) to ensure robust origination and collections processes.
• Maintain credit risk policies and ensure alignment with EMI/PS4 regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience in credit risk, specifically with SME lending and credit cards.
• Hands-on expertise in automated underwriting and risk models within fintech or digital banking.
• Strong understanding of risk governance, policies, and process management.
• AI-native mindset with the ability to leverage AI tools for productivity and decision-making.
• Unit-economics and product-led growth mindset focusing on risk-adjusted margins.
• Degree in STEM or quantitative finance (physics, data science, math, statistics, etc.) is a strong plus.
