What you will do

• Design and oversee robust end-to-end ML architecture, from data ingestion and feature stores to model serving and monitoring.
• Define the long-term roadmap strategy for AI infrastructure and orchestration frameworks.
• Architect and evolve LLM-powered applications, including RAG pipelines, tool integrations, and multi-step reasoning workflows.
• Establish MLOps standards to ensure the ML ecosystem is testable, maintainable, and scalable.
• Design and implement evaluation frameworks for GenAI systems using offline benchmarks, online metrics, and human-in-the-loop feedback.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers and Data Scientists to translate business problems into technical requirements.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Canada
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years architecting and deploying production ML models at scale.
• Proven experience at a Staff or Senior level, including technical leadership and architecture ownership.
• Deep expertise in MLOps, production ML systems, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Strong experience with LLM architectures, RAG systems, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows.
