What you will do

• Lead and expand the Idaho Public Works Division and its municipal practice.
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with municipal clients throughout Idaho.
• Oversee project delivery, including budgets, schedules, staffing, and quality management.
• Lead business development efforts, including pursuits, proposals, and strategic planning.
• Mentor, supervise, and develop engineers, project managers, and technical staff.
• Implement division-wide QA/QC standards and project delivery best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (Idaho or ability to obtain within six months).
• 12+ years of experience in municipal/public works infrastructure (water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway projects).
• Proven experience supervising technical staff and project managers.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and Adobe Acrobat.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass criminal background and driving record reviews.

Nice to have

• Existing relationships with Idaho municipalities and public agencies.
• Experience building or expanding a Public Works practice.
• Familiarity with Idaho DEQ, local highway districts, and municipal procurement processes.
• Experience in proposal leadership, contract negotiation, and fee development.
