What you will do
- Lead and expand the Idaho Public Works Division and its municipal practice.
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with municipal clients throughout Idaho.
- Oversee project delivery, including budgets, schedules, staffing, and quality management.
- Lead business development efforts, including pursuits, proposals, and strategic planning.
- Mentor, supervise, and develop engineers, project managers, and technical staff.
- Implement division-wide QA/QC standards and project delivery best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (Idaho or ability to obtain within six months).
- 12+ years of experience in municipal/public works infrastructure (water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway projects).
- Proven experience supervising technical staff and project managers.
- Proficiency with Civil 3D and Adobe Acrobat.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass criminal background and driving record reviews.
Nice to have
- Existing relationships with Idaho municipalities and public agencies.
- Experience building or expanding a Public Works practice.
- Familiarity with Idaho DEQ, local highway districts, and municipal procurement processes.
- Experience in proposal leadership, contract negotiation, and fee development.
