Lead Assessor (Nuclear)

Location: Lyon, France; candidates must be located in Paris, Northern France, or the Lyon area and willing to travel within France. Assessments are conducted both onsite at client locations and remotely.

What you will do

• Verify management systems against the ISO 19443 nuclear standard independently or as part of an audit team.
• Examine the implementation of management systems during onsite and remote assessments at client locations.
• Lead audit teams and manage interactions with international customers.
• Act as a technical expert on nuclear-industry assessments and audits.
• Identify technical and management challenges and contribute to improvements in client systems.
• Support service development through nuclear and quality-management expertise.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, mathematics, physics, civil works, or quality management.
• At least 2 years of experience in the nuclear industry and at least 2 years of experience with industrial quality-management systems.
• IRCA or ICA qualification and experience with nuclear third-party and second-party assessments.
• Knowledge of local law and nuclear-regulation monitoring and review.
• Good verbal and written French and English at C level.
• Analytical, proactive, adaptable, and communicative approach; valid Class B driving licence and ability to complete 180 chargeable days annually.
