What you will do

• Engage with customers to translate custom analog and FinFet layout requirements into actionable product guidance.
• Deliver technical presentations, education sessions, and enablement on the Virtuoso platform.
• Build SKILL-based utilities to address specific customer requirements not covered by standard functionality.
• Author Product Requirement Specifications (PRS) to formalize customer-driven R&D priorities.
• Validate new features and customer flows in collaboration with the Product Validation team.
• Collaborate with marketing and technical publications to refine tool positioning and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in the electronic design automation (EDA) industry.
• Demonstrated experience in custom analog layout and the Virtuoso Layout Suite.
• Proficiency in the SKILL programming language to write functional utilities independently.
• Must be based in or able to work from Edinburgh, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with FinFet layout techniques and multi-patterning methodologies.
• Knowledge of Virtuoso ADE, Innovus, and Open-Access frameworks.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as TCL or Perl.
• Experience in customer-facing or field applications engineering roles.
