What you will do

• Reconcile company credit card charges to general ledger accounts and ensure proper coding.
• Gather and upload receipts and supporting documentation into the accounting system.
• Perform bank transaction reconciliations and flag discrepancies.
• Verify carrier commission payments against expected commission statements.
• Support various ad hoc accounting and finance projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, general ledger).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work on-site in the Columbus, Ohio office.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Prior coursework or experience in bookkeeping or accounting software.
