Salary: Grade 9 on NRC’s Resident salary scale.

What you will do

• Drive the internal displacement monitoring and data strategy aligned with global organisational goals.
• Establish and maintain institutional data governance frameworks, including quality standards and metadata management.
• Oversee core data infrastructure (AWS, APIs, Helix, GIDD) and lead data science and innovation efforts.
• Manage multidisciplinary technical teams and external consultants to deliver high-impact data products.
• Coordinate with donors and external partners for fundraising and technical representation in expert groups.
• Lead the design of complex innovation projects to improve data volume, quality, and timeliness.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Data/Computer/Information Science, Humanitarian Affairs, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data science, information management, or technical leadership.
• 5+ years of experience in project management leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Expertise in AWS, database management, public APIs, and large-scale data dissemination platforms.
• Applied knowledge of ML, NLP, and AI-driven automation deployed at scale.
• English: C1 level proficiency (excellent written and oral communication) required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IDMC monitoring tools and standards.
• Additional languages beyond English.
