TL;DR
Lead Content Designer (EdTech): Leading content strategy and the creation of user-centered content across complex services with an accent on accessibility, usability, and information architecture. Location: Hybrid (Milton Keynes). Attendance in the Milton Keynes office is required approximately once per month.
Salary: £59,966 to £67,468

What you will do
- Lead content design, strategy, and information architecture across multiple agile teams to ensure services meet user needs.
- Develop and implement organizational content and format strategies in line with industry best practices.
- Line manage and coach senior and junior content designers to improve professional development and content quality.
- Utilize analytics, user feedback, and user research to inform strategic content design decisions.
- Champion and maintain standards for usability, accessibility, and consistency across the service landscape.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate a service-led and user-focused approach into the organization's products.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in designing and publishing user-centered digital content.
- Expert knowledge of UCD principles, accessibility, and usability requirements.
- Proficiency in using analytics and user research to drive content improvements.
- Proven ability to lead content design work in agile, complex, and ambiguous environments.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and establishing content design best practices across teams.
- Must be based in or able to commute to the Milton Keynes office for occasional attendance.
