TL;DR
Technical Architect (Cloud): Designing and delivering robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions across corporate platforms and customer‑facing services with an accent on infrastructure and cloud environments. Focus on translating complex requirements into high-quality technical architectures and providing practical implementation guidance to delivery teams.
Location: Remote or Hybrid (Must be based in the UK with pre-existing right to work)

What you will do
- Produce technical architecture designs for on-premise, data center, and public cloud environments.
- Evaluate architecture options and make evidence-based recommendations balancing functional and non-functional requirements.
- Support delivery teams during implementation through knowledge transfer and hands-on assistance.
- Participate in the architecture peer review process and present designs to the Technical Assurance Board.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps and investigate emerging platforms and industry trends.
- Collaborate with Security Architects to ensure workload protection.
Requirements
- Proven experience producing technical architecture designs.
- Strong understanding of compute, networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
- Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK.
- Ability to gain or currently hold SC level security clearance, NPPV Level 3, or ESC.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to have
- Experience working within the UK public sector.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or OCI platforms.
