What you will do

• Design and implement engaging gameplay systems and economy frameworks.
• Develop multiple system design solutions and communicate implementation trade-offs and risks.
• Lead small cross-functional teams to align gameplay systems with product objectives.
• Create comprehensive design documentation for implementation across various disciplines.
• Utilize prototyping and playtesting to validate and refine system designs.
• Establish design principles and best practices for future systems design work.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in Game Design.
• Strong expertise in progression systems, game balance, economy, or mathematical modeling.
• Experience owning gameplay features for at least one shipped title.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
• Ability to integrate complex gameplay mechanics into cohesive player experiences.

Nice to have

• Experience mentoring or coaching other designers.
• Proficiency (3+ years) using Unreal Engine.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Experience leading systems, economy, or game balance design.
