What you will do

• Optimize data warehouse performance to achieve operational excellence, production stability, and reliability.
• Design and implement observability, monitoring, and alerting best practices at scale across the User Voice organization.
• Build robust warehouse platform and tooling capabilities incorporating data governance and management principles.
• Apply software engineering practices using SQL and Python to provide clean datasets to end users.
• Maintain and tune data infrastructure including Fivetran, Snowflake, Redshift, dbt, Looker, Mode Analytics, and Census.
• Develop scalable data ingestion and modelling frameworks to support product teams and leadership queries.

Requirements

• Proven experience writing advanced SQL and working with modern data transformation tools like dbt.
• Strong understanding of data modelling principles and analytics engineering best practices.
• Experience working with large datasets in cloud data warehouse environments.
• Ability to translate complex product questions into structured, scalable data solutions.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Must be based in Sydney to support the hybrid way of working.
