Assembly Technician

TL;DR

Assembly Technician (Electronics/Defense): Assemble drones and electronics assemblies by reading and interpreting work orders, performing final assembly, and handling light repairs with an accent on soldering, wire assembly installation, and maintaining high-quality builds with minimal rework. Focus on accurate measurement, documentation of non-conformances, and adapting to frequently changing builds and assembly processes.

Location: El Segundo, CA (On-site). Local candidates only; relocation is not available.

Salary: $25–$35 per hour

What you will do

• Perform final assembly of drones and antenna assemblies with the manufacturing and engineering teams.
• Solder electrical components and install wire assemblies.
• Complete work instructions and follow build documentation.
• Document non-conformances and recommend improvements to builds.
• Adapt to changing builds by learning new assembly processes and new product lines.

Requirements

• US citizen or Green Card holder with right to work in export control defense manufacturing (ITAR).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using hand tools (e.g., drills, torque wrenches, socket sets).
• Experience using measurement tools (e.g., rules and calipers).
• Ability to read and follow work instructions with strong attention to detail.
