Senior Scientist I, Bioanalytical

Location: 6 Cedarbrook Dr, Cranbury, New Jersey, United States. On-site laboratory and office work required.

What you will do

• Coordinate and supervise DMPK non-GLP bioanalytical method development, qualification, sample analysis, report writing, and project metrics.
• Design and conduct complex studies for analytes and metabolites across biological matrices, proposing multiple methodological approaches.
• Perform pharmacokinetic sample analysis, including stock solution preparation, sample extraction, and small- and large-molecule analysis.
• Serve as study director, principal investigator, or project coordinator and act as a primary sponsor contact.
• Review calculations, records, and reports; prepare comprehensive reports and present scientific findings.
• Train and mentor colleagues, supervise personnel, contribute to SOP development, and promote laboratory safety.

Requirements

• PhD in chemistry, biology, or a related physical science with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in advanced bioanalytical methods and techniques for small- or large-molecule analysis, including LC-MS, ELISA/MSD, PCR, flow cytometry, or western blotting.
• Independent experience developing ligand-binding assay and/or LC-MS bioanalytical methods.
• Ability to independently design research projects and methodologies, apply scientific principles, and demonstrate scientific creativity.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to work on-site in office and laboratory environments with exposure to biohazards and chemicals, wear PPE, stand or walk for extended periods, and lift or push up to 15 lbs routinely.
