Salary: $215,000 – $300,000

What you will do

• Own the entire certification lifecycle for FPGA firmware.
• Author DO-254 plans and standards to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and execute compliant processes for peer review and testing.
• Perform qualification of design and verification tools.
• Coordinate certification activities with the FAA and relevant DERs.
• Develop strategies for efficient verification of airborne electronic hardware.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, or asylee) due to U.S. export control laws.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years of full-cycle aviation electronics hardware development experience.
• Proven experience with safety-critical FPGA certification in a DO-254 level A/B process.
• Professional experience designing or verifying FPGA digital logic using industry-standard tools.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Experience working with RADAR or RF transceivers.
• Proven track record of product ownership including development and field support.
• Experience with fast-paced, agile development life cycles.
