TL;DR

Associate Attorney (Insurance Defense): Managing complex civil litigation cases with an accent on insurance defense, trial advocacy, and strategic case development. Location: Must hold an active bar license in the State of California. Flexible work arrangements available (remote, hybrid, or onsite).

Salary: $115,000–$160,000 annually, plus performance bonuses.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute compelling case strategies to drive successful outcomes.
  • Independently manage all phases of litigation, including court appearances, depositions, and trials.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff across various experience levels.
  • Maintain professional communication and build relationships with clients.
  • Mentor junior attorneys to support team growth and professional development.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active bar license in the state of California.
  • 1–8 years of litigation experience, including case strategy and trial preparation.
  • Ability to independently manage a full caseload from discovery through trial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and litigation billing systems.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in insurance defense.
