What you will do

• Plan, design, and implement features for the Marketplace platform to facilitate fleet maintenance and payments.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver high-quality, maintainable software.
• Engage in architectural design and technical feasibility spikes.
• Write performant, well-tested code and conduct thorough peer code reviews.
• Research and implement prototypes to validate assumptions for new marketplace features.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• 2+ years of experience with ReactJS and TypeScript.
• Must be based in the United States, Canada, or Mexico.
• Firm understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Experience with payment systems such as Stripe or Brex.

Nice to have

• Expertise in consuming and integrating external APIs and webhooks.
• Experience leading small teams or projects.
• Knowledge of the fleet management industry.
• Experience building APIs for consumer or mobile app consumption.
