What you will do
- Plan, design, and implement features for the Marketplace platform to facilitate fleet maintenance and payments.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver high-quality, maintainable software.
- Engage in architectural design and technical feasibility spikes.
- Write performant, well-tested code and conduct thorough peer code reviews.
- Research and implement prototypes to validate assumptions for new marketplace features.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
- 2+ years of experience with ReactJS and TypeScript.
- Must be based in the United States, Canada, or Mexico.
- Firm understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- Experience with payment systems such as Stripe or Brex.
Nice to have
- Expertise in consuming and integrating external APIs and webhooks.
- Experience leading small teams or projects.
- Knowledge of the fleet management industry.
- Experience building APIs for consumer or mobile app consumption.
