Senior Fullstack Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of scalable full stack features for the Business Account portal using React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Translate complex financial workflows, including transfers and Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) flows, into secure end-to-end user experiences.
• Build high-performance interfaces for transaction feeds, balances, and multi-currency views with efficient state management.
• Develop and maintain GraphQL schemas and resolvers to ensure consistency between frontend and backend data models.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across the stack, applying strong TypeScript practices.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues to ensure a reliable merchant experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend/web development.
• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, including advanced type manipulation and generics.
• Strong proficiency in React.js using a type-safe approach.
• Experience supporting backend services developed in Java and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience with Next.js for server-side rendering, static site generation, and API routes.
• Strong experience consuming GraphQL APIs (e.g., Apollo Client).

Nice to have

• Proficiency with UI component libraries such as Chakra UI or Material UI.
• Experience in fintech or banking, specifically with SCA/2FA, PSD2, and RBAC.
• Practical use of AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor.
• Experience launching and localising web products across multiple European markets.
• Familiarity with internationalisation (i18n) frameworks.
