What you will do

• Execute and continuously enhance the Bank’s valuation control framework.
• Take ownership of key valuation control and prudent valuation adjustment (PVA) workstreams, including analysis and reporting.
• Conduct independent price verification (IPV) and assessments of valuation uncertainty.
• Collaborate with Product Control, Market Risk, Finance, and Front Office to ensure robust valuation governance.
• Prepare and present valuation materials for management committees, audits, and regulatory discussions.
• Utilize Python and Dataiku to streamline reporting and improve control efficiency.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in Valuation Control, IPV, PVA, or Market Risk.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial instruments including fixed income, rates, credit, FX, and derivatives.
• Ability to review and challenge valuation models, pricing inputs, and assumptions.
• Business fluency in English is required.
• Proficiency in Python, Dataiku, SQL, or Tableau is highly valued.
