What you will do

• Own and operate the end-to-end hybrid network, including AWS cloud networking and critical on-premise branch infrastructure.
• Lead the technical deployment of ZTNA and Secure Web Gateway capabilities to transition the organization toward a Zero Trust model.
• Manage the Palo Alto environment, including VM-Series firewalls and Panorama-based policy management.
• Drive network infrastructure as code using Terraform to replace manual processes with version-controlled, repeatable patterns.
• Build self-service modules, guardrails, and documentation to empower application and operations teams.
• Implement observability, alerting, and redundancy to ensure platform resilience and proactive issue resolution.

Requirements

• Must be based in the continental US.
• Strong hands-on networking fundamentals (routing, switching, DNS, load balancing, NAT, segmentation) in cloud and on-premise contexts.
• Proven experience leading ZTNA and Secure Web Gateway deployments.
• Hands-on experience managing Palo Alto environments (NGFW, Panorama).
• Strong AWS networking experience (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, IPAM).
• Practical experience with Terraform and a platform-oriented mindset for automation.
• Scripting fluency in Python or Bash.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS hub-spoke landing zones and Account Factory for Terraform.
• Depth in on-premise enterprise networking (Cisco) and SD-WAN deployments.
• Experience with observability platforms like Dynatrace or Observe.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes/EKS and CI/CD tooling.
• Prior experience in regulated or FinTech environments.
