What you will do
- Co-develop new adhesive products based on customer specifications and business strategy.
- Prepare adhesive batches, conduct lab tests on elastomers, and document data in Electronic Lab Notebooks.
- Operate analytical instruments such as FTIR, DSC, DMA, and TGA for material characterization.
- Perform liquid property testing (viscosity, rheology) and mechanical testing (lap shear, dispense force).
- Maintain lab equipment as the equipment responsible person and manage inventory/supplies.
- Ensure strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) practices.
Requirements
- Associates degree in a STEM field is required; Bachelors degree is preferred.
- Previous laboratory experience in an industrial or R&D environment is required.
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 40-50 lbs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to lab safety.

- Knowledge or working experience with polymers.
