What you will do

• Manage daily lab readiness, including supply inventory and equipment maintenance.
• Execute procurement processes, handle vendor relationships, and forecast supply needs.
• Maintain strict adherence to OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
• Oversee hazardous waste management and assist with safety inspections and audits.
• Support the development and implementation of new lab capabilities and technologies.
• Mentor and onboard new personnel while driving continuous improvement in lab organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related life science.
• 3+ years of experience in laboratory operations or research support.
• Expertise in equipment lifecycle management, calibration, and vendor coordination.
• Proven knowledge of regulatory compliance and hazardous waste management practices.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Long Island City, NY.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in lab management or a life science discipline.
• Experience in molecular and cellular biology, GPCR screening, or high-throughput screening environments.
