What you will do

• Design and build manufacturing equipment, tooling, and fixtures for CMC production.
• Lead equipment development projects from initial concept through commissioning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and thermal issues on the production floor.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation for equipment operation.
• Collaborate with facilities and maintenance teams to improve equipment uptime and reliability.
• Analyze production performance data to drive continuous improvement in efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency).
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in designing, building, and testing hardware.
• Proficiency with CAD and creating engineering drawings.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and travel up to 30%.

Nice to have

• Experience with Formula SAE, Baja SAE, rocketry, or robotics competitions.
• Knowledge of vacuum systems, furnaces, and thermal processing equipment.
• Experience in high-performance industries like automotive or aerospace.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis and equipment reliability methodologies.
