What you will do

• Develop and maintain spacecraft-level manufacturing plans, including build sequences and work instructions.
• Design assembly fixtures and production support equipment using CAD.
• Implement production methodologies and optimize integration flows to maximize efficiency.
• Perform DFM/DFA analysis and ensure design compatibility with production constraints.
• Lead Manufacturing Readiness Reviews and resolve technical or quality issues using root cause analysis.
• Interface with cross-functional teams including Design, Test, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship, legal permanent resident status, or protected person status required due to export control regulations.
• 5–15 years of experience in aerospace or space manufacturing and complex electromechanical system integration.
• Deep knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and precision measurement techniques.
• Strong understanding of AS9100/ISO9001 quality systems and CAPA methodologies.
• Hands-on experience supporting production floor activities in cleanroom environments.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and inspection data.

Nice to have

• MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience scaling hardware from prototype through rate manufacturing.
• Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
• Experience with PLM/MES systems and digital manufacturing workflows.
• Leadership experience mentoring engineers in a high-growth environment.
