What you will do

• Own the technical vision and enterprise standards for AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS) across the organization.
• Develop and execute model-training strategies, personally handling fine-tuning using PEFT, LoRA, and QLoRA when required.
• Architect orchestration and abstraction layers for agentic systems, including MCP servers and tool-surface design.
• Design end-to-end RAG systems, including chunking strategies, embeddings, vector stores, and hybrid search.
• Define the enterprise strategy for AI evaluation, observability, red-teaming, and safety guardrails.
• Mentor Principal and Staff engineers to raise the AI engineering bar across the organization.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in AI/ML software engineering delivering production AI at enterprise scale.
• Hands-on mastery of LLM training, fine-tuning, and orchestration (Agentic systems, RAG).
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, and large-scale data pipelines.
• Experience with Azure and operating within regulated SaaS environments.
• Must be based in the USA.
• English: C1 level required for executive communication and technical storytelling.

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Industry experience in tax, insurance, fintech, or healthcare domains.
• Experience with FinOps for GenAI to optimize LLM token and inference costs.
• Contributions to open-source AI tooling, published research, or patents.
